Everton are reportedly rivalling Manchester United and Newcastle United for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard ahead of the summer window – and many Toffees fans have reacted on Twitter to the reports.
The Daily Record have claimed that all three Premier League clubs are interested in signing 22-year-old striker Edouard, who has starred for Scottish champions Celtic this season. He is in the form of his life, in what is his third season at Celtic.
The France Under-21 star joined Celtic in the summer of 2017 on an initial season-long loan deal, before a move was completed for around £9million (Sky Sports) in 2018. In total, Edouard has scored 58 goals and created 29 in 122 games.

But it is his form this season that has caught the eye of those down south. In just 41 appearances, Edouard has had a hand in 42 goals. Scoring 25 times, the former Paris Saint-Germain star has also created 17 strikes.
Everton boast Dom Calvert-Lewin, Moise Kean, Richarlison and Oumar Niasse as options up top. But the latter is likely to leave, while Richarlison is naturally a winger. Kean has managed just one Everton goal since his move from Juventus.
Everton fans have reacted to the reported news on Twitter that Edouard could be brought in to rival Dom Calvert-Lewin, and many Toffees supporters are desperate for their club to sign the Frenchman.
