Everton fans react on Twitter to Merih Demiral bid reports

A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from Calciomercato claiming that the Toffees are set to make a bid for Merih Demiral.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side currently look well-stocked for options at centre-back. But perhaps there is reason to believe that the club may be preparing to let at least one of their current players leave Goodison Park this summer.

That is because Calciomercato reports that an Everton bid for Demiral is coming. It is claimed that the Toffees could offer up to £26 million for the 23-year-old.

The report notes that Juventus are set to want more for the Turkey international, who is planning to make a decision on his future after the European Championships this summer.

Demiral has had a mixed time in Turin. When he has been available, he has been superb for the Old Lady.

However, injuries have plagued his time with Juve. So it is little surprise that Calciomercato claims that an agreement between the two clubs is possible.

And it seems that plenty of Everton fans would love to see him arrive. Many have taken to social media to insist that he would improve the options already available to Ancelotti.
