Everton fans react on Twitter to Demarai Gray interest reports

A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to comment on recent reports from 90min suggesting that the Toffees are one of the clubs keen on signing Demarai Gray.

Gray looks set to be on the move in one of the next two windows. As reported by 90min, his Leicester City contract expires at the end of the season.

He is yet to feature for Brendan Rodgers’s men in the Premier League this term. Nevertheless, he is attracting attention from a number of clubs.

According to a recent report from 90min, Everton are battling Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace and Southampton for the 24-year-old. It is also noted that he has options abroad as well.

Gray – who earns £55,000-a-week, according to Spotrac – has previously looked like an incredibly exciting talent. And, while more recent times have been difficult, he is surely a player worth gambling on given his contract situation.

The reports have prompted plenty of reaction from Everton supporters on social media.

Admittedly, there are some who do not want Gray moving to Goodison Park. They believe that he would not be an upgrade on what they already have.

However, several have suggested that they would back Carlo Ancelotti if he wanted Gray. If he joins on a free next summer, or makes a low-cost move next month, he could potentially prove to be an inspired addition.
