A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports suggesting that the Toffees are planning to make a £15 million bid for Josh King this summer.
King was part of the Bournemouth side that were relegated on the final day of the Premier League season. He bagged his sixth league goal of the campaign that day as the Cherries beat Carlo Ancelotti’s side at Goodison Park.
And it now appears that it could be Everton who will offer him an immediate return to the top flight.
And it does appear that plenty of Everton fans would be happy with King joining this summer. He has scored 48 goals in the Premier League, while he has also provided 14 assists.
The supporters would seemingly have little interest in seeing him arrive for a big-money fee. However, for £15 million, they have few complaints.
They believe that he could prove to be an incredibly shrewd addition to Ancelotti’s squad.
He has twice reached double figures for league goals since Bournemouth’s promotion to the top flight. And anything like that sort of tally next season would see him more than justify a £15 million fee.
Here is how some of the supporters have reacted to the links with King…

Best Bournemouth player IMO, closely followed by Brooks. Get him signed.

Need more than 3 strikers on the books for that price worth getting we need to concentrate on midfield but 15 million is a bargain

£15million is a no-brainer. Gives us another good option up front and would be far more effective out wide than anyone else we’ve got.
