A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from The Telegraph over the weekend suggesting that the Toffees are monitoring Fikayo Tomori.

It would be little surprise to see Carlo Ancelotti add another defender to his options this summer. And it appears that Tomori is one of the players the Italian is interested in.

The Telegraph notes that Everton are waiting to see whether Chelsea decide that they are willing to loan the 22-year-old out this summer.

He made 15 appearances in the Premier League last season. However, his most recent appearance for Frank Lampard’s men came back in February.

But plenty clearly feel that he would be a very good signing during this window. He has shown glimpses of his potential over the last couple of years.

And some of the Everton fans are hoping that the next stage of his development takes the youngster to Goodison Park.

Here is how some of the fans have reacted to the reports…
