Everton have reportedly made an enquiry to sign Arsenal ace Ainsley Maitland-Niles with The Gunners open to selling the versatile ace who starred in the FA Cup final – and Everton fans have discussed potentially signing him.
Maitland-Niles, 22, clocked up his 100th appearance in all competitions for Arsenal in the FA Cup final as the Gunners beat Chelsea 2-1 to claim the trophy. He has a contract at Arsenal until the summer of 2023.
The Telegraph have claimed that Everton and Brighton have made enquiries to sign Maitland-Niles, who has been seemingly told he can leave the Emirates. It is believed he could cost north of £20million.

Maitland-Niles has shown he can shine in a number of positions this season, despite naturally being a central midfielder. He has played at right-back in Hector Bellerin’s absence, and more recently at left-back.
The Toffees could do with a midfielder. Fabian Delph has struggled since his move from Manchester City, Jean Philippe Gbamin remains injured and Morgan Schneiderlin has left the club to join Patrick Vieira’s OGC Nice.
Everton supporters have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that they have enquired over a move to sign Maitland-Niles – and many are all for the signing, as he offers cover in midfield and in defence.
