Tottenham are reportedly looking at signing England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford as a replacement for Hugo Lloris – and Everton fans have reacted.
Pickford, 27, has emerged as a possible target for Antonio Conte’s side – with the Italian concerned about the future of captain Hugo Lloris.
The French veteran is out of contract in 2022, and unless the 2018 World Cup winner pens a new deal – he will leave Spurs at the end of the season.
Spurs do have Pierluigi Gollini on loan, a deal which includes an option to buy. But from what has been so far, many do not consider him first choice.
So, Spurs need to either sort out Lloris’ future – or replace him. The Telegraph say Conte has identified Pickford as a potential replacement.
Pickford still has a deal at Everton until 2024 – making Everton confident they can make a decent profit on the £25million they bought him for.
But after numerous big-money signings, Financial Fairplay prevented Everton from spending in the summer. They need to sell, to spend.

What do Everton fans think as Tottenham consider Pickford move?
Though Pickford has his critics, he has been a good signing for Everton. Scrutiny on the ex-Sunderland goalkeeper is large, as he is England’s no.1.
But he has come through times of adversity after a couple of mistakes – keeping 50 clean sheets for the Merseyside club in 172 games.
Everton fans have responded to the reports that Tottenham could come in for the England stopper – and some are seemingly willing to see him go.
