Everton could be about to sell Oumar Niasse this summer with Turkish side Trabzonspor reportedly interested in the the striker’s services – and Everton fans are desperate to see the back of the Senegalese ace.
Turkish newspaper Fanatik have claimed that the 29-year-old is the subject of talks between the two clubs, with Everton more than willing to sell Niasse on a permanent basis after he flopped on Merseyside.
Signed from Lokomotiv Moscow for a fee of £13.5million (BBC Sport) in January 2016 under Roberto Martinez, Niasse has managed just 39 appearances in three and a half years at Goodison Park.
He scored nine goals, but was forced to watch from the sidelines for much of the campaign and was sent on loans to Hull City and Cardiff City. He went to Cardiff in January, but failed to score a goal in 13 appearances.
The report claims Everton are desperate to get rid of Niasse and are willing to let Trabzonspor enter talks with the player. The only issue is whether Trabzonspor can convince Niasse to relocate to Turkey.
Everton fans reacted to the reported news that their club could be about to sell Niasse to Trabzonspor after the striker entered the final 12 months of his contract – and fans are desperate to see him gone.
