Everton will stick with Marco Silva – for now.
According to BBC Sport, Silva will still be the Everton manager for this weekend’s clash with Leicester City. He has taken training this week and is starting his preparations for the weekend.
Everton have been considering replacing Silva with another manager. The home loss against struggling Norwich City was a new low and Everton plummeted to 16th in the league table.
This led to increased calls for Silva to be sacked. But the Portuguese boss is still in the job. And it looks like he’ll be in the dugout for the trip to Leicester at the weekend, which is the start of a very tricky run.
Everton’s tough run

Everton face a tough task against second-place Leicester City. But this is followed by table-toppers and fierce rivals Liverpool in the Merseyside derby before games with Chelsea, Manchester United, Leicester in the cup and Arsenal. All of these will be before Christmas.
Silva’s time at Everton is running out but he is still in charge for now. Here are some Everton fans reacting to this update.
