Everton and Wolves are reportedly considering a move to lure Barcelona midfielder Rafinha to the Premier League this summer but face competition from the Chinese Super League – and both sets of fans reacted on Twitter.
Rafinha, brother of Bayern Munich and Liverpool-linked superstar Thiago, spent the 2019-20 season on loan at Spanish side Celta Vigo – clocking up 33 outings. It was his second loan with Celta, after a move in 2013-14.
Now 27 years of age, the two-time Brazil international has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Barcelona and the Spanish side are seemingly keen to cash in. Indeed, Barca are willing to sell a number of players.
Spanish newspaper Sport claim Wolves and Everton are both interested in Rafinha, but they both trail Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua who are willing to meet Barcelona’s asking price of £14.5million.
It is believed that Rafinha would prefer a move to the Premier League, especially with Thiago potentially on his way to Liverpool. A move to China remains an option, though, if Everton and Wolves do not move quickly.
Supporters of both Premier League clubs have reacted on Twitter and while Toffees fans want the player signed, Wolves fans are sceptical – though equally as keen.

Not seen him that much hes been a squad player for 10 years roughly. Make sense for a loan and option to buy if true
