Everton fans react as club reportedly join Liverpool in scouting Leon Bailey

Everton are reportedly set to join Liverpool and both Manchester clubs in scouting Bayer Leverkusen star Leon Bailey on Sunday as the Bundesliga side take on Bayern Munich – and Toffees fans have reacted on Twitter.

Bailey, 22, has been in mediocre form this season – scoring just seven goals in 30 games. The Jamaica international has failed to live up to his enormous potential, with the hype previously much higher regarding the attacker.

Still a teenager in his first season at Leverkusen, Bailey had a hand in 18 goals in 34 games. It almost saw Bailey join Bayern Munich for £55million in 2018, but now the attacker could be on his way to England.

Sky Sports claim Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City scouts will watch the DFB Cup final between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen – in order to keep an eye on Bailey.

It is believed Leverkusen will be willing to sell Bailey for a fee between £20million and £30million, with the player seemingly keen on a move to the Premier League. Everton could look to land Bailey if he impresses on Sunday.

Everton supporters have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that their club are one of four Premier League clubs scouting the former Genk ace – and many think he would be an excellent signing.
