Everton are reportedly interested in raiding Carlo Ancelotti’s former side Juventus to sign Paulo Dybala, but face competition from North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal – and Toffees fans have reacted on Twitter to the news.
Dybala, 27, is struggling to get into the Juventus side on a regular basis under Andrea Pirlo this season – with the Juve manager preferring to use the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata in the final third. Dybala has been afforded just 17 games.
He did score last time out but only after coming on as a substitute, netting a winner in a 2-1 win over Napoli. Transfer Market Web claim Everton are interested in signing Dybala, joining Spurs and Arsenal in the race to sign the Argentina international.
It is likely to cost Everton quite a considerable figure, even if his contract ends at the end of next season. Spanish newspaper Marca say Juventus rate the former Palermo man at £47million, while his wages are also expected to be enormous.
Everton fans have reacted on Twitter to the news that their club are battling London sides Tottenham and Arsenal in the race to sign Dybala – and many think he would be a great signing for the Merseyside club, even if it is unlikely.
