Everton fans react as club reportedly interested in signing Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot

Everton are reportedly interested in signing Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer after the Frenchman struggled in his first season with the Old Lady – and Toffees fans have responded on Twitter.

According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Everton are interested in signing Adrien Rabiot from Juventus in the summer transfer window. The 25-year-old has managed just 24 outings in all competitions, starting only 16 times.

The former Paris Saint-Germain star has joined a side where competition in the middle of the park is enormous. Maurizio Sarri has Aaron Ramsey, Miralem Pjanic, Blaise Matuidi and plenty more options – leaving Rabiot in and out of the side.

The report states that Rabiot is looking to leave Juventus after becoming disillusioned with the Italian champions. He is currently earning a whopping £120,000 a week (Goal), and has a contract with Juve until the summer of 2023.

Everton are likely to be after a central midfielder this summer. Jean-Philippe Gbamin has spent the majority of the campaign on the sidelines, while Fabian Delph has struggled. Doubts remain over Morgan Schneiderlin’s future at Goodison Park.

Everton supporters reacted on Twitter to reports that their club want to sign Rabiot in the coming months, and many believe he would be a decent addition – but have questioned his attitude.
