Everton are one of a number of sides reportedly interested in signing Jesse Lingard from Manchester United with the player seemingly allowed to leave the club on loan in January – and Toffees supporters have reacted on Twitter.
Lingard, 27, has failed to make a single Premier League appearance this season for Manchester United – appearing on the bench just twice. Instead, he has only played two times this season, in which both matches came in the Carabao Cup.
Sky Sports have claimed that his agents have begun exploring the possibility of a loan move in January despite his contract ending in the summer. Real Sociedad are said to be in talks – a move that would see Lingard reunite with Adnan Januzaj.

The Daily Mirror claim that Sociedad are not the only side interested in Lingard. Indeed, Everton, West Ham and West Bromwich Albion are said to be interested in keeping Lingard in the Premier League next month.
The same report also claims Celtic and Rangers are considering a move to take him north of the border, with Steven Gerrard’s side having qualified for the knockout rounds of the Europa League – and Celtic looking to win 10 in a row.
Everton supporters have reacted on Twitter amid reports that Lingard could end up at Goodison Park in the summer – following a traditional route of out-of-favour players swapping Old Trafford for Everton, Morgan Schneiderlin for example.
Some think he would be a good addition, while others want their club to look elsewhere.
