Everton are reportedly battling Tottenham Hotspur and other Premier League clubs to sign Bournemouth attacker David Brooks before the end of the domestic deadline – and Everton supporters have responded on Twitter.
Brooks, 23, has been relegated to the Championship with Bournemouth and despite his obvious talents, no-one has decided to raid the Cherries for the 12-time Wales international. He remains with Bournemouth, and has a contract until 2022.
However, the Mail claims five Premier League clubs are interested in signing him and could make a move before Friday’s 5pm deadline. Everton are one of those five, but they also face competition from Liverpool, Tottenham, Leicester and Man United.

It is believed that Bournemouth are desperate to keep Brooks in their bid for an immediate return to the Premier League. But they are also aware that they may have to cash in, and are willing to wave goodbye if a bid of £40million is made.
Everton do have options out wide, but the Toffees have got rid of Moise Kean and Theo Walcott in the final days of the window. It leaves Carlo Ancelotti’s side with just Anthony Gordon, Richarlison, Alex Iwobi and James Rodriguez out wide.
Everton supporters have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that Brooks is a potential target and there is a small chance a move could even materialise over the next 24 hours. Many would love to see Brooks signed.
