Everton fans react as club linked with 53m-rated Torino star Andrea Belotti

Everton are reportedly willing to break their transfer record to sign Torino striker Andrea Belotti this summer as Carlo Ancelotti looks to bring in more fire power up front – and Everton supporters are excited on Twitter.

Italian website TuttoMercatoWeb have claimed that Everton are interested in signing 26-year-old Belotti, who has continued to establish himself as one of the best strikers in European football yet to complete a big-money move.

However, that could all change this summer. A 27-time Italy international, Belotti has continued his excellent scoring rate this season with 15 goals in 31 appearances and has a contract at Torino, where he is captain, until the summer of 2022.

Everton have been looking to bring in a replacement for Romelu Lukaku ever since the Belgian left for Manchester United. Cenk Tosun has failed following his £27million move from Besiktas, while Moise Kean has scored just one goal this season.

Dom Calvert-Lewin has been in excellent form this season, but it is clear that Carlo Ancelotti wants more of threat in the final third and Belotti has been identified. The report claims Everton are willing to splash £53million to sign Belotti.

Everton fans have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that their club are interested in spending big on Belotti, and many are keen for the powerhouse striker to move to Merseyside in the coming months.

Such a move would see Everton smash their transfer record, with Richarlison bought for £50million.
