Everton have reportedly had a bid of £13.7million accepted for Galatasaray striker Mbaye Diagne and it is believed that the African goal machine will join the Toffees this week – and Everton fans have reacted on Twitter.
Turkish newspaper Fanatik have claimed that Everton have seen an eight-figure offer for the 27-year-old striker accepted, with Marco Silva looking to bring new players to the club with less than a week left to go in the window.
Diagne shone in Turkey last season. Starting the campaign with Kasimpasa, Diagne blasted 20 goals in just 19 league and cup outings for the SuperLig side. It saw league champions Gala come calling.
His form in front of goal dried up a touch, but he still managed to score a very impressive 11 in 17. Now, he is expected to be on his way and join Everton – who are also set to bring in Moise Kean from Juventus.
Everton do have Dom Calvert-Lewin and Oumar Niasse, though Niasse could leave. Cenk Tosun is also at Goodison Park, but the Turkish striker is expected to leave with Crystal Palace linked with the Turkish ace.
Everton fans reacted to the news that Diagne could be on his way to Merseyside this summer, and some are not completely sure over the Senegal international. Some, though, think he would be good addition.
I'm late to the party on this one. Not sure I believe it, but he is big, strong, very physical as I recall – did watch some Gala matches, great in the air, can score with his right. I GUESS if Niasse + Tosun leave, Kean starts, DCL in if we are up, Diagne in if we need a goal?

Were gunna need striking cover if tousun niasse mirallis etc etc are all offloaded so just 13m for someone banging in goals used as cover may not be a bad option at all
