Everton fans have been reacting to official news from the club that midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has undergone knee surgery.
The Frenchman sustained a torn meniscus against Arsenal last weekend, and is set for ‘a period out of the team’.
The club haven’t set a return date, but The Daily Mail have reported he could face up to two months on the sidelines.

It is a big blow for the player, who had been showing much better form recently under Carlo Ancelotti.
The former Manchester United man had solid outings against Newcastle United and Crystal Palace in the last few weeks and would surely have been eyeing an extended run in the side.
Thankfully for the Toffees, Andre Gomes is now back in the picture following his awful ankle injury in late 2019.
The Portuguese is likely to pair with Fabian Delph in the Everton engine room going forwards.
Schneiderlin took to Instagram on Friday to update supporters on his condition, writing: “So sad about my injury. I will come back stronger.”
The 30-year-old’s contract at Goodison Park expires in the summer of 2021.
