Everton fans react as Christian Eriksen is linked with January move

Premier League outfit Everton have enquired about the possibility of signing Christian Eriksen, according to SempreInter as per La Stampa – and supporters have taken to Twitter in reaction.

The 28-year-old is way down the pecking order at Inter Milan and the club will allow him to end his Italian nightmare this month.

Inter value Eriksen at £17 million, whilst the player is hopeful of receiving a salary of £120,000-a-week (Calciomercato).

The report claims that the Italian outfit might allow him out on loan, however, provided his wages are paid in full until the end of the season.

Everton produced the goods in the transfer market during the summer, signing James Rodriguez, Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Eriksen looks like being a wanted man and his pedigree in the English game is bound to alert several clubs.

The Toffees fan base have certainly been alerted to this news with some intrigue.

Some would welcome him with open arms, whilst others fear that he isn’t quite what the club needs at the moment.

His form at Tottenham was stunning but it’s fair to say he hasn’t done a deal in the past 12 months.
