Everton forward Oumar Niasse may reportedly be a deadline day target for Burnley – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter insist they want to offload him.
Sky Sports have reported in their live transfer blog (10:09am, 31 January) that Premier League outfit Burnley are weighing up a potential swoop for the 29-year-old.
It is understood that any exit to Turf Moor would be on loan for the rest of this season.
Niasse is on the fringes of the Toffees squad this season, with just three substitute appearances made all in the Premier League.
The Senegal international has never really found a settle home on Merseyside since joining in 2016, with previous loan spells away from the club at Hull City and Cardiff City.
Burnley could potentially be the latest to try take the striker, but time is running out to wrap up a deal in the January transfer window.
A selection of Everton supporters on social media insists that it would be a good move to offload Niasse and are hopeful a deal can be completed.
He looks unlikely to get a sniff in front of first-choice centre-forward and departing on deadline day could make sense for all parties.
Here are some Everton fans on the Niasse speculation:
