Everton went out on a whimper as they suffered a 3-1 defeat to Bournemouth at Goodison Park but with the Cherries relegated despite picking up three points – Toffees fans want one of Eddie Howe’s players signed.
Joshua King opened the scoring for Bournemouth after just 13 minutes, after Richarlison handled inside the penalty area. But Moise Kean equalised in what was his sixth Premier League start – after great work from Theo Walcott.
It was 2-1 before the half-time break, though, as Dom Solanke has finally remembered where the goal is. He scored again, this time from a Sergio Rico cross, in first-half injury time. Junior Stanislas made it 3-1 in the second 45.
Jordan Pickford has been criticised for much of the campaign once again, with the England number one conceding a whopping 61 goals in 43 games. He was at fault for Stanislas’ effort, letting a soft effort tickle past him.

A lot of Everton supporters are of the belief that the club need a new goalkeeper to replace the 26-year-old, who is certainly under the spotlight given he is England’s first-choice stopper.
Bournemouth goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, 22, has taken the fancy of Everton fans after a number of saves on Sunday at Goodison. He has enjoyed an excellent season, clocking up 37 Premier League appearances this term.
Indeed, those 37 were the first of his Bournemouth career – since his £1million (Sky Sports) move from Sheffield United. Everton supporters have urged their club to go after Ramsdale, after Bournemouth were relegated.
