Everton fans rave about Thierry Small’s performance during under-23 win
Everton under-23s defeated Leicester City 4-2 and for Thierry Small, the game capped a remarkable 24 hours.
The youngster made his first-team debut coming on as a second-half substitute in a 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup.
Last night he scored for the under-23 ranks as they produced a lethal display of finishing to oust the Foxes.
Small is only 16-years-old and has been playing regularly for the club’s under-18 ranks this season.
The teenager is capable of playing as a left-back or in a more advanced role on the left-hand side.

Last night was his second goal in five appearances for the under-23s and David Unsworth will be delighted with his progress.
Everton have a proud history with their academy prospects and supporters are excited to see how Small develops.
There is, of course, a lot of work to do for the left-back and at 16, time is certainly on his side.
Small has plenty of pace, is good at both ends of the pitch and looks comfortable in possession.
