Dominic Calvert-Lewin carried over his recent domestic form to the international stage on Thursday night with England – and some Everton fans on Twitter were left raving about their player’s performance.
The centre-forward has started the new season with nine goals in six games for the Toffees, something which saw him drafted into Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions squad during the international break.
Calvert-Lewin started England’s 3-0 home victory against Wales in the international friendly and played 58 minutes on his senior debut for his country.
The 23-year-old opened the scoring in the first-half with a brilliant header inside the six-yard box, as he showed off what a threat he is in the air and the intelligent movement he’s added to his game.
Meanwhile, Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Conor Coady and Southampton’s Danny Ings were on the scoresheet in the second-half.

A selection of Everton supporters on social media were praising their number nine for his internatonal contribution and believe he’s a force to be reckoned with right now.
The striker is certainly in the form of his life right now and it’s showing every time he steps on the pitch, so he will be hoping he can be involved in England’s Nations League fixtures in the next few days
