Everton’s difficult season continued yesterday as a late goal from Kelechi Ihenacho secured all three points for Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
Marco Silva’s position at the club now looks to be in serious jeopardy with Everton just one place outside the relegation places.
But it was actually a much improved overall performance from Everton especially from Djibril Sidibe. Playing in a right wing-back role that he often featured in for Monaco, the French loanee was not only a potent threat in attack but he also gave Leicester plenty of trouble in his attacking displays.

Once again, he demonstrated his deadly attacking instincts with the cross that set up Richarlison for Everton’s opener. He did not stop there either, putting in plenty of dangerous crosses into the box that the Everton attack could not capitalise on.
There is no doubt he is justifying his current first-team spot ahead of club captain Seamus Coleman with his current performances.
For Everton fans, it was yet another sign that Sidibe should be snapped up permanently when they get the chance, even if he did end up on the losing side…
