Everton fans have moved to praised Robin Olsen, after the Swede made his debut against Newcastle United in the Premier League.
The Toffees slipped to a disappointing 2-1 defeat, with Callum Wilson scoring a brace for the hosts.
There will now be concern for Carlo Ancelotti, whose side flew out of the traps in 2020/21.

It was clear that Everton were missing the likes of James Rodriguez and Richarlison, with creativity in very short supply at St. James’ Park.
In-form Dominic Calvert-Lewin managed to get his eighth league goal of the season, but fans will be hoping their side will be able to bounce back before the next international break.
It really was another off day for Everton, with the likes Gylfi Sigurdsson and Andre Gomes failing to have much impact.
Abdoulaye Doucoure was perhaps the Toffees’ best player, but Newcastle made it particularly difficult once Wilson had slotted away his first.
That said, after Calvert-Lewin had scored there was some late pressure on Karl Darlow’s goal, but the Magpies held out for the three points.

One man who did come in for some appreciation was Olsen, who was handed his debut at the expense of Jordan Pickford.
The AS Roma loanee had a very steady afternoon and made some decent saves, including one from point-blank range against Sean Longstaff in the second half.
He also thwarted Allan Saint-Maximin brilliantly in the first period.
There wasn’t much he could have done on the goals, and amid the frustration, there were some supporters who acknowledge his contributions.
