Everton fans plead for Ademola Lookman to start in place of injury doubt Richarlison

Everton travel to Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are keen for Ademola Lookman to get a chance in the starting XI.

Manager Marco Silva has confirmed that Richarlison is a “major doubt” ahead of the Palace match (Liverpool Echo).

The Brazilian has been a regular in the side in recent games as the right-winger and settled in that position.

His potential absence will leave a gap in the usual team and alternative wide option Theo Walcott is ill his manager also stated.

That could leave the door wide open and a selection of Everton fans want promising young talent Lookman to get the chance away to Palace.

Lookman has not started a first-team game for Everton since January and usually has to make do with brief cameo appearances off the bench.

The 21-year-old is an winger with electric pace and great trickery, something that saw him impress on loan at RB Leipzig last season.

He’s managed just 21 senior appearances this campaign in all competitions for the Merseyside club and is yet to become a regular for Silva.

The English dazzler definitely still has some major support from fans, who would be pleased if he is promoted to the starting XI at the weekend.
