Everton continued their recent run of poor form with a lifeless and drab performance against Leicester City at Goodison Park. The Toffees barely mustered a fight as the Foxes won 1-0 after Jamie Vardy took advantage of a mistake from Michael Keane.
It was a poor display from Everton who now have the exact same points tally as this time last season.
Picking one player from the team to criticise seems harsh. Only Kurt Zouma came from the game with any credit after a decent display at the back.

However, Dominic Calvert-Lewin failed to take his chance yet again for Everton. The young striker was poor throughout the game and, in all honesty, it was hard to remember he was even playing at some points in the game.
In the second half, his name was barely mentioned. Cenk Tosun did more in his limited minutes on the pitch than Calvert-Lewin did in the 90. It was certainly not a game that will convince Everton fans he is the future of the club’s striking position.
Fans at Everton have been struggling to be patient with the England under-21 striker recently and this performance will certainly not have helped his cause…
