Everton are reportedly interested in Lille attacker Nicolas Pepe – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have given their thumbs up to chase him this summer.
According to the Telegraph, Marco Silva’s team have expressed an interest in the Ivory Coast international.
The report details though that the Toffees would have to smash their transfer record for him, as he is valued at around £58.5million following his stunning season in Ligue 1 last year.
it is understood that manager Silva wants a left-footed winger added to his squad and the Lille wide man is on his radar.
Pepe was directly involved in 41 games across all competitions last season for the French side and was directly involved in 35 goals.
The 24-year-old was one of the standout performers in Ligue 1 last season and often likes to drift in from the right flank to his favoured left foot.

A selection of Everton supporters on social media are impressed with speculation linking them to Pepe, even if some are doubtful that they would be able to pull off such a high-profile signing.
He’s a skilful winger that would have a lot of pressure on him if he did move to England, but was in sensational form last season and only Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe outscored him in Ligue 1.
The Toffees need more goals in their side to kick on next year and ideally a new centre-forward would help.
