Everton fans insist Joshua King is recalled to the side against Burnley

Everton host Burnley on Saturday evening in the Premier League – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter are desperate to see Joshua King start for them.

King, who joined in January on loan from Bournemouth, is yet to make a single start for the Toffees.

The 29-year-old has been used off the bench in seven games so far, but manager Carlo Ancelotti has opted against including him in the XI.

He’s a versatile forward that can play anywhere in attack, but it looks like the Italian boss prefers to use him on the right wing.

King would’ve hoped for much more game time following his mid-season loan transfer, although he knows he’s got some real tough competition for places at Goodison Park.

Ancelotti’s team are going to need three points this weekend to really keep themselves in the thick of the Premier League four race.

A selection of Everton supporters on social media feel that this weekend is the perfect time to promote King to the team.

Despite joining on loan from a Championship club, he’s got plenty of experience and is waiting to really shine at the Merseyside club.

He’s got 51 senior international caps for Norway, plus he has scored 48 goals in 168 Premier League appearances in his career.
