Everton fans happy with links to 25-year-old English midfielder

Everton are one of the clubs being linked with Ruben Loftus-Cheek at London giants Chelsea – and some Toffees fans on Twitter have responded to claim they’d like to see him at Goodison Park.

The Daily Mail claims Everton, Aston Villa and Southampton like the 25-year-old.

It is explained that another loan move is not on the cards for the midfielder after spending this season at Craven Cottage with Fulham.

However, he could look for a permanent move if he doesn’t feature in the plans of Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel.

Loftus-Cheek, who is on a staggering £150,000-a-week, is enduring a rough patch.

Unfortunately, it’s been a difficult campaign where he’s failed to get anywhere near his best in a Fulham shirt. He’s due to return to parent club and Champions League winners Chelsea for pre-season.

The attacking midfielder has his work cut out to force his way back into the Blues squad. He’s played 82 first-team games for Chelsea since his development from their academy, but hasn’t been the same player since suffering a big Achilles injury in 2019.

Everton fans want to take a chance on Loftus-Cheek

Loftus-Cheek never really made the most of his Fulham loan despite a couple of flashes of brilliance.

However, there is a quality player inside him waiting to come out.

The powerhouse is a 10-time caped England international and played in the 2018 World Cup.

At his best, he’s a box-to-box star that has sown he can perform on the top level. Everton fans are prepared to take a chance on him.

He may be worth the gamble because he’s been a success in the first. Additionally, he’s got the physical attributes to be a success and just needs the confidence to go with it.
