Everton survived an FA Cup scare on Saturday as they needed extra-time to defeat Rotherham United of the Championship.

The Toffees won 2-1 thanks to goals from Cenk Tosun and Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin was missing for the win and boss Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed more bad news today.

The England man will miss this week’s trip to Wolves with a hamstring injury, representing a real blow for Everon.

Calvert-Lewin has been in fine form this season, firing 14 goals in all competitions.

He hasn’t scored for five games in the Premier League though and his injury has come at a bad time.

The 23-year-old will be desperate to get back into some sort of form but he’ll have to wait a little while longer.

Everton head to Wolves looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League, after a 1-0 defeat to West Ham last time out.

Ancelotti confirmed the bad news in this morning pre-match press conference and supporters have taken to Twitter to react.

Plenty are concerned as to where the goals will come from in his absence.

Tosun did net on Saturday but there is doubts over his ability to do it regularly in the top-flight.

Here is what the Everton fan base is saying after news of an injury for the £100,000-a-week Calvert-Lewin emerged.
