Everton fans have expressed their delight over Djibril Sidibe after he produced a quality performance against Burnley on Boxing Day.
The Toffees were being taken by new manager Carlo Ancelotti for the first time, and recorded a 1-0 win at Goodison Park thanks to a Dominic Calvert-Lewin header.

It was a hard-fought game for the Toffees, with Burnley proving very stubborn to break down.
That breakthrough came in the 80th minute though, when Sidibe crossed for Calvert-Lewin to nod his eighth goal of the season.
That was Sidibe’s fifth assist in all competitions so far this season, and his performance as a right-winger allowed him to show his attacking capabilities.

His performance will only increase the clamour for him to be signed permanently, with the World Cup winner currently only on loan from AS Monaco of course.
The result sees Everton move up to 13th in the Premier League table, although they are just four points above the relegation zone.
