Midfielders staying
Everton will not be letting Idrissa Gana Gueye or James McCarthy leave the club. Sky Sports is reporting that PSG have given up on their pursuit of the Senegalese midfielder as Everton made it clear he was not available.
Irish international McCarthy meanwhile was expected to join Crystal Palace on loan but that deal has now been ruled out as well.
Belgian Bolasie
Yannick Bolasie is on his way out. The DR Congo winger cancelled his loan spell at Aston Villa earlier in the month. He is now travelling to Belgium for a medical with Anderlecht, according to Het Laatste Nieuws. He told the Belgian paper that the move was ‘interesting’ to him.
Martina to Holland
Cuco Martina is also heading elsewhere. According to the Liverpool Echo, he has been recalled from his loan spell at Stoke City in order to head out on loan to Feyenoord. That deal could become permanent in the summer.

Pennington switch
Everton-owned Matthew Pennington is wanted by Derby County. He is currently on loan at Ipswich Town but the Derby Telegraph reports that the defender is wanted by Frank Lampard.
He is hoping the player can switch Portman Road for Pride Park.
No Bat signal
Everton will not be signing Michy Batshuayi. The Liverpool Echo reports that Everton have no interest in paying the reported £35 million fee to sign him permanently, despite numerpus reports suggesting otherwise this morning.
