Tottenham might well be in a stronger position to revisit their interest in Jordan Pickford this summer, with the Telegraph reporting Everton could well sell the England stopper.
EU sanctions placed on Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov have left some doubt at Everton over key finances heading into the summer. And alongside that, The Telegraph reports how a number of key players could be sold off.

Among them, is number one goalkeeper, Jordan Pickford. The £30m stopper has been the main man at Everton ever since arriving from Sunderland in 2017. However, he could now be sold on to raise funds for Frank Lampard.
This news, of course, could perk the interest of Tottenham. It was only back in December that Spurs were linked with a move for Pickford, with the Londoners keen to secure a long-term replacement for Hugo Lloris.
Spurs have stuck with Lloris for now but are unlikely to sign Pierluigi Gollini on a permanent basis. The Italian has struggled at the club since arriving and Tottenham are almost certain to seek an alternative.
TBR’s View: Pickford A Solid Option For Tottenham
It seems like Jordan Pickford has been around forever but he is still just 27 and for a goalkeeper, that is a prime age for someone to snap you up.
Tottenham do need that longer-term replacement for Lloris and Pickford is as readymade as they come. Premier League and international experience are in the bank and he could thrive with a fresh move.
Spurs are set for a huge overhaul this summer. And a new stopper could be as important as anything else. Indeed, you only have to look at City and Liverpool to see the difference a quality goalkeeper makes.
