Everton believe that Jarrad Branthwaite is now one of the best defenders in the league and have set a £75 million asking price for the youngster amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
Jarrad Branthwaite is also being monitored by Manchester United, according to a report from TEAMtalk, after an outstanding start to the campaign for the Toffees.
On the pitch at least, things are looking a lot brighter for Everton at least. Sean Dyche’s side would be in the top-half of the Premier League table were it not for their 10-point deduction. As it is, they are already back out of the relegation zone.
Everton believe Tottenham target Jarrad Branthwaite is one of the best defenders in the league
Branthwaite has been one of their best players so far. The 21-year-old has established himself as a key man in the Everton backline. With that, the former PSV Eindhoven loanee is attracting interest.

According to TEAMtalk, both Tottenham and Manchester United have been monitoring Branthwaite for some time. However, they will have to pay a huge sum if they wish to do a deal next month.
Everton want around £75 million before they consider selling Branthwaite in January. And that is because they believe that he is one of the best defenders in the Premier League.
Obviously, it is hard to see another club paying £75 million for Branthwaite in January. So the Toffees will surely feel fairly confident about their chances of keeping the centre-back beyond the window.
But if the offers do come in and he has to decide between the two clubs, Branthwaite will surely face a simple choice.
Spurs a more appealing option than Manchester United
Manchester United are in a real mess right now. And it was telling that Rio Ferdinand suggested this week that he would not move to Old Trafford if he was Ronald Araujo.
Tottenham meanwhile, have been transformed under Ange Postecoglou. They play some of the best football in the league. And they set the pace in the early stages of the season in the Premier League.
Spurs offering the money in January seems highly unlikely. But it is certainly an exciting time to join Tottenham.
