Everton attacker Alex Iwobi is currently away from Goodison Park on international duty.
The Toffees ace linked up with Nigeria for their final Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, against Benin and Lesotho.
Iwobi reportedly tested positive for covid after joining up with the Super Eagles and missed the 1-0 victory in Porto Novo at the weekend.

However, he subsequently tested negative ahead of the game against Lesotho, earning a spot in Gernot Rohr’s starting XI in Lagos.
Nigeria, who were already assured of top spot in Group L ahead of the game, ran out 3-0 winners thanks to goals from Victor Osimhen, Oghenekaro Etebo and Paul Onuachu.
All Nigeria Soccer gave Iwobi a 7 out of 10 for his display, writing: “He had a good evening and was sprightly all through before he was substituted. Has to improve his shooting skills.”
Goal.com, meanwhile, gave him 6 out of 10 and wrote: “While the expected link-up with Sanusi seldom bore fruit, the Everton playmaker still contributed to the host nation’s attacking play with smart passes and intelligent positioning.”
Iwobi has made 31 appearances for Everton this season, scoring two goals and claiming three assists.
With Nigeria’s international break now over, the 24-year-old will be heading back to Merseyside ahead of Everton’s Premier League home meeting with Crystal Palace on Monday evening.
