Everton have recently had their fortunes revived by interim manager Duncan Ferguson.
He was placed in charge at the start of December after Marco Silva was sacked following a poor run of form.
With the January window on the horizon, the Toffees will likely look for a couple of players to help them climb the Premier League.
If players are added to the squad it may see some others fall down the pecking order and loan moves away from Goodison Park could beckon.
Ahead of the January window, we look at three players who could leave the Toffees on loan during 2020:
The 18-year-old is edging closer to the first-team but hasn’t made a Premier League appearance just yet.
He has found himself on the bench recently but as of yet, he is yet to step onto the pitch.
If a side in the Football League were willing to take him on loan it wouldn’t particularly be a bad thing.
Gordon has scored seven goals for the under-23 ranks this season but perhaps just needs some first-team football to sharpen his skills in the men’s game.
The £27 million (Sky Sports) striker has found football hard to come by but Everton would be wise not to cash in on him just yet.
Tosun, 28, has a contract until 2022 and when called upon he has shown that he is capable of scoring goals.
In 49 appearances he has netted 10 goals, although he has largely been used as a substitute.
Everton should perhaps loan him out for the rest of the current campaign and then take stock in the summer.
The Congolese midfielder has featured 12 times for the Toffees but is yet to make a first-team appearance this season,
He joined Wigan on loan for the second half of the last campaign and that didn’t work out either.
The holding midfielder needs to get some game time under his belt and a loan move must be on the horizon.
At 21, he needs to be out playing regular football and hopefully, Everton can hook him up with that in 2020.
