Ibrahimovic is going to be a success in England

After a run of six Premier League games without a goal, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has scored four goals in his last three league matches. Those that had doubts about the Swede have gone quiet and he is proving that he can be a regular goal-scorer in the Premier League. Although Manchester United haven’t been able to establish themselves as one of the top teams in the league, Ibrahimovic is emerging as one of the star players and he has the ability to drag Manchester United to a top four finish.

The Christmas period will be a huge test for him as he is used to having a winter break. Manchester United need an excellent run of form ahead of 2017 if they want to get their season back on track and the 35-year-old striker will be crucial to that. His goal was well-taken as he produced a brilliant chip over the onrushing Maarten Stekelenburg. He now has momentum and that is crucial for goal-scorers. I’d expect Ibrahimovic to score 20+ goals in the league this season, but whether that will be good enough to guide Manchester United to a top four finish is another question.
