Arsenal will be in the market for a new striker this summer.

The north London club’s need for a new striker has been a point of discussion for a long time now, and numerous strikers have been linked wih a move to the Emirates.

The likes of Ivan Toney and Dusan Vlahovic have long been linked, but, of course, they’re not the only strikers Arsenal are looking at.

Speaking to ESPN on TikTok, Evan Ferguson has been discussing some of the best strikers in the world, and he named another Arsenal target as one of the best on the planet.

Ferguson was asked to name who he thinks are the three best strikers in the world, and he named Victor Osimhen alongside Harry Kane and Erling Haaland as one of the best around.

Osimhen has been linked with Arsenal lately, and Ferguson thinks the £50m man is one of the best around.

“I would say Haaland, Kane and Osimhen maybe. Top three, he doesn’t get talked about too much, but he’s definitely up there,” Ferguson said.

Victor Osimhen looks like a star in the making

Ferguson is absolutely right to highlight Osimhen as one of the best around.

The Nigerian has been making waves in Serie A over the past 18 months, and his skillset appears to be perfectly suited to the Premier League.

There’s a reason Osimhen has been the subject of so much interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs over the past few months, and if he did end up joining Arsenal, he could become an absolute star for the Gunners.

Arsenal could certainly do a lot worse than signing Osimhen this summer.

As for Evan Ferguson, he himself will want to be in this conversation in a few years’ time.
