Leeds United are reportedly looking for defensive reinforcements during the January transfer window.
The Whites let Djed Spence and Luke Ayling leave Elland Road this month, so they could do with replacing those two.
A recent report from L’Equipe claimed Leeds and Rangers have been in pursuit of Hellas Verona left-back Josh Doig.
Torino and Marseille have also been credited with an interest in the 21-year-old. Sadly for Leeds, it looks like the latter club is set to win the race.
Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that the Ligue 1 side have agreed personal terms with Doig over a move to the Stade Velodrome.

Leeds may still be in time to try and convince Verona to consider them, however, but there isn’t much time left, according to the report.
Marseille and Verona are said to still be in talks over a fee, but the French side is trying to close the deal by Friday night.
The fee will apparently be in the region of €4.5million to 5million (£4million to 4.3million).
Leeds United must jump in quickly if they still want to sign Josh Doig – TBR View
Doig would be a great shout for Leeds. At just 21 years of age, he has already made over 100 competitive club appearances.
He has also made several matchday squads for Scotland’s senior team, and his debut is now surely not far away.
Doig has been described by Football Talent Scout as a ‘modern left-back’ whose main strength is ‘his ability to cut out passes and intercept dangerous balls’.
He has his whole career ahead of him and looks like he can become a top player. However, when you’ve got a Europa League side in pursuit – and seemingly so far ahead in negotiations – it’ll be tricky for Leeds to turn his head now.
