Shaka Hislop has suggested that Conor Bradley produced a special performance for Liverpool on Wednesday night as Jurgen Klopp’s men blew Chelsea away at Anfield.

Conor Bradley was undoubtedly the man of the match as Liverpool beat the Blues 4-1 on Merseyside. The Northern Irishman scored his first goal for the club and provided two assists.

Unsurprisingly, plenty of Liverpool players were full of praise for Bradley on Instagram after the game. And it seems that the pundits are just as impressed by the 20-year-old’s performance.

Conor Bradley lauded after special Liverpool performance

Speaking on ESPN, Shaka Hislop suggested that he was amazed by the youngster’s display, as well as the form that the entire team are in right now.

“The finish for his goal, I thought really was special, the way he hit it, how crisply he hit it. He kept it very low. No goalkeeper wants to deal with that. His all-round play, I thought, was just simply outstanding. You have to love everything you’re seeing about Liverpool right now,” he said.

Jurgen Klopp now faces tricky decision

It is going to be fascinating to see what Klopp now does with Bradley. Liverpool have received a further boost with Trent Alexander-Arnold making his way back from injury.

Bradley’s form has taken some of the pressure off of Alexander-Arnold. But there is surely no doubt that he will be back in the team sooner rather than later.

What Bradley has done is stake a claim to remain in the side once Alexander-Arnold is back to full fitness. And given how good the England international has been this season, that is a monumental achievement.
