ESPN pundit Janusz Michallik has hailed Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.
Spurs have had a fantastic season so far, haven’t they? Ange Postecoglou has completely transformed their side, and all of his summer signings have looked good, especially Vicario.

ESPN pundit says Tottenham’s Guglielmo Vicario is ‘outstanding’
Tottenham signed Guglielmo Vicario from Empoli in the summer for a fee of just £17 million (Daily Mail).
The Italian was an unknown quantity to many when he came in. Many Spurs fans were even annoyed that Daniel Levy went for the cheaper option in Vicario instead of spending the big bucks on David Raya.
After five months in the Premier League, Tottenham’s decision has proved to be an amazing one, and Vicario is one of the biggest reasons why Spurs have done so well.
Speaking about the 27-year-old, Janusz Michallik has branded him as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League right now.
He said on ESPN: “They (Tottenham) have one of the best goalkeepers in the league.
“We keep talking about these players – what’s going on there at Arsenal – Raya – great with feet, Ramsdale should have been playing, Robert Sanchez, Onana, all these goalkeepers that are coming in the league are supposed to come in and take their team to the next level because of their abilities.
“And you look at Vicario and he’s absolutely outstanding.”

Vicario is Tottenham’s signing of the summer
James Maddison stole the show in the early parts of the season with his brilliant performances, as did Micky van de Ven for Tottenham.
However, the one signing that went under the radar in the summer but has delivered consistently every game is Guglielmo Vicario.
The Italian has been magnificent for Spurs. He has saved them on numerous occasions and is outperforming his xGA by over 11, which is just extraordinary.
In our opinion, Vicario has been Tottenham’s best signing, and if he continues to perform in the same way, Spurs could achieve something special this season.
