Eriksen to Liverpool or Dortmund: Who can bag the Dane?
The talented Dane of Ajax, Amsterdam, Christian Eriksen has attracted the attention of various major European clubs, including Liverpool, Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund.
While these two are the clubs seriously considering a transfer for the player, minor interest has been shown by Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City.
Liverpool have already been very active during this summer’s transfer window. The Reds have already spent on Luis Alberto, Iago Aspas, Jonjo Shelvey and Simon Mignolet. They have also signed Kolo Toure on a free transfer from Manchester City. Meanwhile, they have sold Andy Carroll to West Ham for a fee around 15M and Luis Suarez is keen to leave Anfield. Liverpool look as though they can land Eriksen, especially given the fact their financial condition is very stable.
On the other hand, Borussia Dortmund have lost their “gem”, Mario Goetze to club rivals, Bayern Munich. Whilst Robert Lewandowski has been linked with Manchester United, Chelsea, PSG, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. Eriksen has been tipped as a potential replacement for the young German starlet.
If Dortmund want to continue their winning tradition then they will have to try their best to grab this talented midfielder. To their luck, even Eriksen has said that Dortmund might be his possible destination. It seems the German club are the favorites to secure the signature of the Danish midfielder. He has been valued at £16million by Ajax.
