TBR Football understands that Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea have all been told by Bayer Leverkusen that they are not willing to listen to offers for Piero Hincapie this summer.
Piero Hincapie is a defender held in high regard and is being followed by a host of clubs from around Europe.
At one point, it had seemed that he would be heading to Atletico Madrid earlier this summer, but they were told he was not available unless his £52.5m release clause was met in full. They later moved on and signed David Hancko from Feyenoord.
Now, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea are all believed to have made their move for the defender, but look set for disappointment in their pursuit.

Exclusive: Erik Ten Hag insists Piero Hincapie is not for sale
TBR Football has previously revealed interest from a host of Premier League clubs in Hincapie, including Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea, and we have been told that all three made enquiries earlier this summer.
However, it was also made clear to them that he was not available, sources have told Graeme Bailey, Chief Correspondent at TBR Football.
Having lost Jonathan Tah earlier this summer, Erik Ten Hag has made it clear that he does not want to lose the Ecuadorian star.
Hincapie himself has admitted this week that he is happy to stay, but he is flattered by the interest and he told the Rheinische Podcast: “I’m fully focused on Bayer. However, as a player, it’s always important that other clubs follow you. There are rumours, but my mind is still on Leverkusen.”
The defender has become a key player for Leverkusen with his versatility in being able to play in central defence and as a left-back, a very useful asset.
Last season, the 23-year-old missed just two matches in the Bundesliga, highlighting his importance to the German club.
Piero Hincapie has a great record with Jeremie Frimpong
Liverpool would have to go to Leverkusen for a third time this summer should they hope to bring in Hincapie.
Liverpool have already signed Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz from the Bundesliga side, and Hincapie would become their third addition.
During their time together in the BayArena, Frimpong and Hincapie formed a strong partnership in defence.
