Erik Lamela is on a mini seven-game Tottenham streak without a goal
Tottenham travel to Goodison Park to face Everton on Sunday in the Premier League and will be keen to consolidate their position in the top four with another win.
Spurs are fresh off beating rivals Arsenal in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals in midweek and enter the festive fixtures in good form.
But amid all the club’s success on the pitch right now, one player is enduring a slight dip in his form compared to the beginning of the season.
Erik Lamela has now not scored in his last seven games across all competitions and it’s a rare blip considering he’s still returned six goals in 18 appearances this season.
The 26-year-old has not netted since 3 November against Wolverhampton Wanderers and has had to deal with a thigh injury too since.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino needs to rotate his team amid the fixture schedule and recalling Lamela to the starting XI at the weekend could be a smart move.
The Argentinian attacker is a very streaky player that can terrorise defences when he’s on red-hot form and it could take just one chance to bring him to life.
He is a left-footed ace that add an extra dynamic weapon to Spurs in the final third and Pochettino has the task of keeping all his attackers motivated.
