Tottenham Hotspur take on Olympiakos in the Champions League this evening and will be hoping to pull off a routine win in Greece.
For one Spurs player, it will also be a chance to meet up with some old friends.
Eric Dier never played for the Greek side, but he did come through the youth ranks at Sporting Lisbon with two of the Red-and-Whites star players.

Dier was in the same age group as defender Ruben Semedo and one year above winger Daniel Podence, who will be hoping to face Tottenham tonight.
Speaking to the official Tottenham website, Dier admitted it would be good to see his old pals, but also warned of the quality both players possess.
“They are two players that I know very well from my time at Sporting. And more so Ruben (Semedo), because we are the same age and we played together for a long, long time, all the way from our early days there to the first team…
“Daniel (Podence) was a year below me so we didn’t really play that much together. He is a winger, so a very different player compared to Ruben. He is quite small but very sharp, technically very good and moves well with the ball, but without doubt they are both players with a lot of quality.”

Dier will not get a chance to face his old friend Semedo. The Portuguese defender is out of action with a meniscus injury.
Podence is, however, likely to play but Dier himself will be having to hope for a chance in the first-team.
The England international has struggled for first-team football at Tottenham this season following surgery in the summer and an injury struck 2018-19 campaign.
He is yet to play a single minute for Tottenham so far this season and will hope he gets a chance to shine in front of some old friends tonight.
