Eric Dier offers warning ahead of Tottenham trip to Newcastle
Tottenham fans react as Dier offers Newcastle warning.
The 27-year-old defender has been speaking ahead of Tottenham’s return to action this weekend.
Prior to the international break the Lilywhites arrested a spell of poor form with a 2-1 win over Aston Villa.
Now, they’ll be keen to make it back-to-back wins.
To do that, they’ll need to get one over Newcastle United who are buoyed by their recent takeover.
It certainly won’t be an easy game and Dier has been quick to point that out.

Speaking ahead of the clash, Dier stated:
“The atmosphere is going to be incredible.”
“A team that is doing badly is always dangerous.”
“They’re one result away and they need that win.”
“They’re a very dangerous team in the situation that we find them in with the new ownership and the energy that will be in the stadium.”
Nothing Dier says is wrong, however, the England man’s comments don’t worry the fans.
A lot of the supporters are already questioning what they think they’ll get out of this.
Spurs’ form hasn’t been amazing this season and that win over Villa was a break from three consecutive defeats.
On paper, Newcastle are a much inferior side to Spurs, though.
They’re yet to win a Premier League game this season and will be desperate to change that as Spurs come to town.
Equally, though, this is a chance for Tottenham to spoil the Newcastle party.
The Magpies have been in dreamland since the takeover and this is a chance to at least temporarily burst their bubble.
