Chelsea crashed out of the FA Cup at the hands of Brighton and Hove Albion with their attacking options proving to be particularly disappointing once again.
The Seagulls came from behind to win 2-1 and reach the fifth round of the competition with the Blues having taken the lead after a Bart Verbruggen own goal.
Enzo Maresca is now coming under a bit of pressure with his team having now won just three times across their last ten matches.
The most concerning area of the defeat on the South Coast will have been Chelsea looking toothless in attack as two of their forwards produced some concerning data.

Neto and Sancho fail to record a shot on target vs Brighton
Pedro Neto and Jadon Sancho both failed to record a single shot on target against Brighton as Chelsea were eliminated from the FA Cup.
Chelsea fans have slammed the performance of Sancho and are already keen for the West London club to start looking for replacements.
Meanwhile, Neto’s stats at Stamford Bridge look pretty damming as the winger has just four goals to his name in the capital.
At the AMEX Stadium, the attacking duo offered very little going forward and Maresca will be starting to become somewhat concerned by his forward options.
| Stat | Neto | Sancho |
| Minutes | 74 | 74 |
| Shots | 1 | 0 |
| Shots on target | 0 | 0 |
| Dribble attempts (succ.) | 2 (0) | 3 (0) |
| Touches | 32 | 40 |
| Accurate passes | 18/18 (100%) | 30/32 (94%) |
| Key passes | 0 | 3 |
Christopher Nkunku’s display will be another worry for the Italian manager as the striker managed just a single touch in the Brighton penalty area in 90 minutes.
Enzo Maresca claims Chelsea missed Nicolas Jackson vs Brighton
Maresca claims that Chelsea missed Nicolas Jackson against Brighton with his presence on and off the ball being so important for his team.
Speaking after the defeat to Brighton, Maresca told the media: “Sometimes you need to play games without certain players to realise how important they are. We said many times about Nico (Jackson) important on the ball and on the ball.”
“Off the ball, the intensity of his press is very good and on the ball, he is always a threat.”
