Trent Alexander-Arnold’s latest performance for England has attracted criticism on social media.
England beat Kosovo 4-0 to add gloss to their qualifying campaign. The Three Lions had already qualified for Euro 2020 after the 7-0 win against Montenegro last Thursday.
Alexander-Arnold picked up his eighth and ninth international caps over the break. He was preferred to Kieran Trippier in the starting line-up for both matches.

The 21-year-old also got the nod ahead of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Kyle Walker and Reece James, who all missed out on the first-team squad. But his performance did not impress some England fans.
Alexander-Arnold was not able to replicate his Liverpool form during the match against Kosovo. He is normally so reliable bombing up and down the right-wing and providing excellent crosses.
However, England fans have been critical of Alexander-Arnold’s display. With a number of other right-backs pushing for the starting spot, he might need to improve his international game sooner rather than later.
Here are some tweets from England supporters discussing Alexander-Arnold’s showing against Kosovo.
