Tottenham supporters react to Dele Alli’s latest England performance

The midfielder stepped up his comeback from injury problems by playing 64 minutes in last night’s Euro 2020 qualifier.

England thumped Montenegro 5-1 last night to make it two wins and 10 goals from their first two Euro 2020 qualifiers.

Gareth Southgate’s men got off to the worst possible start when Marko Vesovic put the hosts in front after 17 minutes.

The Three Lions are made of sterner stuff these days, however.

A brace from Ross Barkley and goals from Michael Keane, Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling ensured another rout for England.

Dele Alli continued his recovery from injury during the game, playing 64 minutes before being replaced by Jordan Henderson.

The Tottenham man looked much better than he had done against the Czech Republic on Friday.

Ring rust was evident during the Wembley contest but last night Alli edged closer towards his usual self.

Spurs supporters will hope the game time will prove vital in his recovery.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men face a massive game with Liverpool this weekend and Alli’s inclusion could prove vital.
